Abwechslung! something different!

When a friend asked my to sew something for her, my first thought was: please, no elephant!
As much as I do love to sew them, sometimes I would really love to make something different.

So when she answered: "no, a purse for a seven year old girl and you can choose the rest" that made her being a favorite customer - I love to work this way.

I immediately knew the pattern and the fabric I would take, and I love the result. In fact so much that I think it is a little sad I couldn't keep the purse for myself.

This is the smaller version of the purse included in the pattern, and this is what fits into it:

As soon as I find some time, I will make such a bag for my youngest son. I already now what fabric I will use....
